What we do

SLPL delivers comprehensive power system studies for industrial and utility electrical networks, covering load flow analysis, short circuit studies and protection coordination, executed using industry-standard software including ETAP. Our studies provide the analytical foundation for safe, reliable and code-compliant electrical system design and operation.

Our engineering team reviews existing protection settings, models the complete network from source to load, and prepares fully coordinated relay-setting documents with time-current grading curves. Studies are conducted across MV and LV systems including indoor switchboards, outdoor reclosers, transformers and large motor drives.

Why field experience matters here

A coordination study prepared by someone who has never commissioned a bay tends to produce settings that are theoretically correct and practically unworkable. Because the same team tests and energises substations, our studies account for what the equipment actually does — CT saturation, breaker operating times, and the realities of the installed base.
